Literature Search Service
Whether you are beginning a new research project or writing a grant, your first step will be to survey peer-reviewed literature. In an effort to save you time, we offer the following services:
- Strategic online literature searches for new studies
- Literature summaries/reports
- Continuous updates for recently-published literature on your subject of interest
- Conversion of your hard-copy literature files into a personal EndNote library for ease of referencing
Clinical Research Protocol Development
Investigators who are developing research protocols are encouraged to contact us. At an early stage, we can help ensure that the hypotheses are clear, and the study design, sample size, and statistical analyses are appropriate. Utilizing the RPD process generally expedites the Scientific Administrative Review process, since many of the statistical and study design issues have already been considered. If the protocol is being submitted to an outside funding source (such as the NIH), we can also assist with formatting and editing.
We have the following resources available for investigators:
- Protocol template and guidelines for investigators
- Pre-Research Database Queries
- Study Design
- Statistical Analysis Plan
- Data Collection Plan
