How to Submit a Protocol Amendment RIRC/IRB
- After the protocol has been given an initial RIRC approval, any subsequent change to the application, protocol or consent form, and any recruitment methods/tools to be used must be reviewed and approved by the RIRC.
- Create (3) single-sided copies of all necessary materials (exception: if you are amending a Retrospective Review, include (2) single-sided copies).
- Timeline: All documents should be received 4 weeks prior to the next scheduled meeting of the RIRC.

How to Submit a Protocol Renewal RIRC/IRB
- All requests for continuing renewal request must be reviewed and approved by the RIRC.
- Fill in Form 10.
- Create (3) single-sided copies of all necessary materials (exception: if you are renewing a Retrospective Review, include (2) single-sided copies).
- Timeline: All documents should be received 7 weeks prior to the expiration date of the approval.
